Kia Ora (welcome) to New Zealand
Everyone arrives at Christchurch International Airport. Look out
for our Paraglidingnz tour guide, wearing a Paraglidingnz T-shirt,
and holding a sign. We will then take a short drive to the city
of Christchurch; check in at our accommodation; fill out the unavoidable
paper work (NZHGPA Visitor License, etc), and maybe have a first
flight at a soaring site, or just dine and relax to get over your
jet lag.
Day 2 – Day

Christchurch - Wings over South Pacific
Fly at the very reliable coastal soaring sites of the Banks Peninsula,
just outside Christchurch, to warm up your ground han-dling/flying
skills and get used to the sea breeze from South Pacific. When you
feel comfortable in the wind, soar along the cliffs and enjoy the
spectacular view with endless air time.

weather situation is favorable, we will take a break at Lake Tekapo
to go flying, before traveling further on to our destination, Queenstown.
