Here are some thoughts to consider when you book your air ticket. Booking with an airline which flies the North American route - for example Air New Zealand, saves you money and hassle. One advantage is of the luggage allowance of two pieces of luggage with up to 32 kg each piece. Our team regularly flies with Air New Zealand, and are most of the time over the weight restrictions with no problems. If you decide to fly the Asian route, ask for extra Sport’s allowance, sometimes this works, especially with Singapore Airlines. If you should have no luck with that, most of the times it is cheaper to use transport companies instead of paying the airline’s excess luggage charges.
